Mako Exterior Panels

Installed: Feb 2019

We were commissioned by InFocus builders to create this hot rolled steel fascia that leaves the entrance of this exclusive eatery hidden in plain sight. Much consideration was taken to preserve and book match the natural patterning of the clear coated hot rolled steel.

"Baby Gray" Nursery signage

Using a hidden mounting structure we were able to make Gray’s name float on the wall like his new parents desired.

United States Alliance Fire Protection

USAFP desired a representation of their logo that defied convention. To deliver the desired outcome their relatively complex logo was broken up into three components that were then bolted together. This style of construction allowed us to retain the raw steel look without losing depth of their image.

The 3D model

Signage is normally simple enough to be convened through 2d CAD drawings. Given that this sign is a assembly I decided to model and render the piece so the client was able to get a feel for what I was about to manufacture.

Zimmerman Compound North

This was a fun project… Commissioned by the Zimmerman family this bare steel sign sits proudly marking the entrance to their property in Northwestern Ontario. I enjoyed hand delivering this piece and constructing the wooden frame from locally sourced materials. The focal point of the sign “Eagle Island” was translated from a photograph of the water taken from their backyard.
